Editorial policy for EVERYTHING.you content and tools
Our standard is useful enough to act on, transparent enough to verify, and careful enough to know where a general guide must stop.
Scope and intent
We publish only within our stated scope: financial inventory, household obligations, insurance records, estate-document discovery, and the private tools that organize those topics. We do not chase unrelated trending subjects.
Sources and verification
We prefer official agencies, regulators, standards bodies, and established professional organizations. A source link supports verification; it is not decorative. Time-sensitive facts are reviewed before publication and material updates receive a new review date.
Calculations
Every calculator exposes its inputs, equation, and limitations. We label estimates, avoid false precision, and separate a mathematical output from a personal recommendation. Tools are tested with zero, negative, missing, extreme, and decimal inputs where relevant.
Authorship and automation
Pages carry a truthful organizational byline explained on the Editorial Desk profile. Research, drafting, code, and visual production may use automation and AI-assisted tools under editorial direction. Automation is never treated as expertise, lived experience, or a substitute for source verification. Imported articles remain subject to the same standard before publication.
Corrections
Send a correction with the page URL, disputed wording, and supporting source to editorial@everything.you. We evaluate substance, not tone. Material corrections should be reflected in the page and its review date.
Financial-content boundary
Content is educational and general. We do not provide individualized financial, investment, tax, legal, or insurance advice. Jurisdiction, contracts, household facts, and professional duties can change an answer.
